- Team Management Achievements – 20 years of improving teams in corporates and household names through to large SMEs. Top appraisal grades, 13 promotions (to board level) and a track record of getting the best from those he leads.
- Business Management Achievements – trained as a Chartered Accountant, Jess has undertaken many commercial role (improving business profit and cash – see below). Today Jess sits of several boards helping managing high growth businesses.
- A History of Teaching & Coaching – passing on expertise is a key part of increasing team capability, which in turn increases performance. Jess has taught, mentored and coached skills and expertise for over 20 years. Jess is also a professionally trained coach (ICF)

From personal experience, I know great team management is about enabling your team and each team member to be the best version of themselves. I didn’t start at this point. I arrived here after trying most other things first and finding they don’t work as well in getting the best from people.
I started with my focus on me and over time (and many mistakes) my focus moved to doing the best I could for my team. It took me quiet a while to understand and know that serving my team was the best way to serve myself (as a leader).
I was very lucky to have an outstanding boss early in my career and she elevated me from an average manager to a good manager. Having such an amazing experience and someone so talented at leading others in a very open, honest and considerate way laid the foundations from my management success and the many impressive business results I have helped my teams create.
Helping managers get a similar level and quality of management expertise is one of key reasons why I started enhance.training. It is a great platform to pass on hard won expertise to the willing and talented high performing managers of the future.
